Introduction and application of light sensor

Light sensor is a kind of optical detection equipment which is commonly used. There are related applications in many industries. Just like some light-controlled switches and light-controlled components in our daily life. For example, light sensors exist in street lamps, various weather stations and modern intelligent greenhouses. But while we know it’s a light sensor, most of us don’t know much about it.

This light sensor is based on the hot spot effect principle. Is the use of low light has a more sensitive response to the detection element. These sensors are the photographic matrix of a camera, with a wound electroplated multi-contact thermopile and a black coating with high absorption. The hot contact is on the induction surface, and the cold node is located in the body, and the hot and cold contact produces the thermoelectric potential. In the linear range, the output signal is proportional to the solar radiation. The visible light of the filter irradiates to the imported photodiode, and the photodiode is converted into an electrical signal according to the size of the visible illumination. The electrical signal then enters the light sensor’s processor system to output the desired binary signal.
