Optical rain gauge in rainfall monitoring
Background:
Rainfall information is the main object of atmospheric environment measurement and precipitation research and can be measured with optical rain gauge and other equipment.
It is also an important index parameter of environmental monitoring and agricultural safety monitoring.
We usually monitor rainfall, usually with a tipping bucket or siphon rain gauge, to sense the natural amount of rainfall.
At the same time, it can be converted into the corresponding switch signal output, which can meet the needs of information transmission, processing, recording and display in most scenarios.
However, this method is more simple, using mechanical equipment to measure rainfall.
Although rainfall data can be obtained, it cannot reflect the amount of rainfall in real time, but only the amount of rainfall in a certain period of time.
For some industries that require multiple rainfall data, the functionality is somewhat inadequate. But the appearance of optical rain gauge solves this problem.
Optical rainfall gauge started relatively early in foreign countries, as early as the 1950s began to study the optical rainfall monitoring technology.
At present, continuous and non-contact automatic measurement of precipitation has been basically realized. Which can effectively improve the micro information of precipitation monitoring in unit time.
The detection principle of optical rain gauge is mainly scattering measurement method, extinction shading method and image acquisition method.
Detection principle:
Raindrops (or other precipitation particles such as snow grains) block the laser as they move through the sampling space.
The optical signal received by the receiving sensor and the electrical signal converted from the optical signal are changed.
When the raindrop passes through the sampling space, the electrical signal of the receiving sensor restores the state before the raindrop enters the sampling space.
When raindrop traverses sampling space, the time of raindrop traversing sampling space can be obtained by processing the electrical signal from the receiving sensor.
Product Introduction:
The optical rainfall sensor produced by JXCT is a product for measuring rainfall.
The interior adopts the principle of optical induction to measure rainfall, and several built-in optical probes make rainfall detection reliable.
Different from the traditional mechanical rainfall sensor. The optical rainfall sensor is smaller, more sensitive and reliable, more intelligent and easy to maintain.
It can be widely used in intelligent irrigation, ship navigation, mobile weather stations, automatic doors and Windows, geological disasters and other industries and fields.
Structural features:
1, small size, light weight, simple installation.
2, low power consumption design, energy saving.
3, high reliability, can work normally in high temperature and high humidity environment.
4, easy to maintain the design, not easy to shelter leaves.
5, optical measurement, accurate measurement.
